HERE IS A TYPICAL DAILY MENU FOR THE CUCUMBER DIET:

Breakfast: cucumber salad, two boiled eggs and a slice of wholemeal bread or cereal
Snack: 1 big apple, 1 peach or 5 plums
Lunch: a slice of toasted wholemeal bread, cucumber salad, grilled chicken or baked fish fillet
Snack: Cucumber smoothie
Dinner: vegetable soup

HOW TO PREPARE THE CUCUMBER SALAD?

Ingredients:

– 1 pound cucumbers
– 1 cup plain yogurt
– 1 spring onion
– Salt and pepper

Preparation

Peel the cucumbers and cut them into small pieces, season with salt and pepper. Add the yoghurt and finely chopped onion. Mix carefully, and your salad is ready!

HOW TO PREPARE CUCUMBER SMOOTHIE?

Ingredients:
– 1 apple
– Handful of spinach
– 1 cucumber, peeled
– A bit of fresh ginger

Preparation

Wash all ingredients, pass them to the blender, except the ginger. Mix thoroughly, then add the ginger and mix again.

Serve this smoothie in a tall glass decorated with some crushed almonds or walnuts. This drink is rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins K, A, B, E, C and iron, calcium and fiber. In order to retain all its nutrients, it is recommended to drink it immediately.
